Word response for the Pardoners tale- The moral of his tale is that money and greed is the root of all evil. Yet the Pardoner is sneaky, greedy and lies, his tale is very effective morally. The moral and message of his story ties with the saying, "money is the root of all evil". When the three young men go out to find and kill death to have revenge for death killing their friend, they end up finding eight bags of gold. They give up on their venture to kill death and decide to split the gold. They soon turn on each other and two of the young men both attack the youngest, while the youngest poisoned the wine and this resulted in the killing of the other two men. So in the end of the tale the three young men died from being greedy, supporting the message "greed is the root of all evil". I believe in his message of the story because if the young men didn't cave into the suave of gold then they wouldn't of been greedy and kill each other.
Word response for the Wife of Bath's Tale- The moral of her tale is that women want to be in charge of their marriage and husbands. The Wife of Bath is a larger women who has out lived all of her husbands and has been married five times, so I would believe she knows a little bit more about a good marriage then the average wife. He tale stats that a knight has been sent to court and charged with deflowering a young maiden. He is almost sent to be beheaded until the Queen decides to give him a challenge. He was sent to find the answer of what do all women want the most in life and found several different answers. Hopeless he started back on his journey to the court when he came across a old women that said she had the answer to his question but, he had to promise that he would do whatever she asked next. The knight presented the answer to the Queen and saved his live but had to marry the old women. At the end of the tale he gave full control of his marriage to his wife and she became beautiful and true. Symbolizing that the old women might have been the Wife of Bath.
